Men get yeast infections. That’s all there is to it. The occurrences in men are much smaller than in women and, in most cases, are because of women. The problem is that the bacteria isn’t prejudice and will make a home on whichever host it can. It just wants to make your life hell by giving you a screaming pain followed by gross crunchy white discharge from your favourite organ.

The television media doesn’t really allude to the fact that men can get yeast infections too. All the ads you see on TV include some easy applicator and are promoted by fifty year old women. I think this is the reason that men are so embarrassed by a yeast infection. I mean, women are embarrassed by them and they’re allowed to be. Men won’t even ask for directions so assuming that they’ll bring up a male yeast infection is ridiculous. This is one of those things that you just have to swallow your pride for because it can lead to death if untreated. The sheer embarrassment usually leads people to the internet.
